Albert Einstein's Rule 72 - How fast will your money double?
How many yrs? Divide 72 by the interest rate (must be less than 20%). 72/8% = 9 yrs
What interest rate? Divide 72 by the number of years . 72/12 yrs = 6% interest rate

If you plan on a retirement fund of $45,000/year in addition to your Social Security, then you'll most likely need one million dollars in your fund. Don't panic. Start gradually. You'd be surprised as to how fast your savings will grow.
